Niya Wilson enters her second academic year as the Athletic Business Operations and Compliance Manager for Yellowjacket Athletics in 2025-26. She was named to the position shortly after graduating in the fall of 2024.
Wilson is no stranger to Yellowjacket Athletics, having played on the women's soccer team for five seasons. Playing in 93 matches, she holds program records in five categories including single season points (62) and goals (26), along with career points (212), goals (84) and assists (44).
As a student, Wilson worked in the athletics front office assisting athletics director Nick Bursik with day-to-day operation to the department. Furthermore, she interned with the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) as a staff assistant in the summer of 2024 through graduation.
Wilson graduated from UW-Superior in 2024, obtaining a pair of Bachelor Degrees in business marketing and business management and a minor in sports management.
